Grand Opening Of New Established TOYO Robot Education Training
Center In Taiwan

The first “Robot Education Training Center of Toyo Automation Co., Ltd. began to operation from January of
2020, and starting with the recruitment of students. This education training center has been specially established
with the purpose of “assisting students and their company to achieve stable development in the overall
competitiveness of industry automation.” Through professional knowledge, the introduction of well experiences
acquired from the industry, practical application as well as earnest teaching attitude, teachers in the center
offered meaningful interaction with the students.

Intended training subjects include technical directors, structure design personnel, electronic control personnel,
and other R&D personnel in the electronic, machinery and automation industries. Also, everyone who is
interested in the course is welcomed to registers. The Course items are divided into six categories including
single axis robots, Cartesian robot, industrial 4-axis selective compliance assembly robot arm (SCARA), industrial
6-axis vertical multi-joint robot arm, 6-axis vertical multi-joint robot, automatic guided vehicle (AGV). All teaching
staffs have acquired over 10 years of experience within the industry, while the center also brings in occasional
guest speakers that possess rich practical experience.

Aside from assisting clients in professional development within the field of automation, Toyo Automation has
continually strengthened the developmental plan for internal talents. The center has been established an
educational training room that is specifically offered to colleagues internally to share its use. Through the hosting
of joint morning meetings, certification testing courses and product presentations, demonstrations of robot arms
in actual use are produced and shown to improve the knowledge of colleagues. In the future, it is expected
to use the training room for film video clips to be used as digital teaching materials, which can be used for
education training for colleagues internally and overseas. It is expected that through digitization, there is a more
comprehensive educational teaching system can be established.

The director of the Robot Education Training Center, Mr. Li-Wei Lu indicated that the company has cultivated the
Taiwan automation industry for many years, with the year 2020 marking the 20th anniversary of the founding of
Toyo Automation. In the past, Toyo Automation has established 3 manufacturing plants and 6 business locations
in the Asia-Pacific region, demonstrating its steady growth. Currently, there are over 300 staff members in the
company. Despite the downturn of the economy last year, Toyo Automation has maintained a stable export
amount and business.

Due to the assistance of many talented individuals, Toyo Automation can become what it is today. “We hope that
more ambitious talented individuals in the automation industry can become a part of the company, to achieve a
life of total automation.” Aside from assisting the continuous development of total automation in the manufacturing
field, Toyo Automation ultimately demonstrates its determination and vision in local cultivation and sustainable
development.
